Ashburton Domain Development Project
The Ashburton Domain Development Plan was adopted by Council in October 2020, following consultation with our community.
The plan covers the improvements we will undertake over the next 30 years, with the aim to: celebrate the waterway, create a cohesive play environment, increase access from the town, and establish a Central Hub at the heart of the Domain.
The plan involves developing:
- a central hub space
- a new entry and access road off Walnut Ave
- a water play area
- wildlife gardens
- waterway enhancements
- new pathways
- a sculpture trail
