Social Wellbeing Strategy

The Ashburton District Social Wellbeing Strategy was launched in December 2008 and identifies six key areas of community wellbeing for focus over the next five years including Housing, New Residents, Children and Young People, Health, Community Social Services and Older People.

It identifies the key social issues facing the Ashburton District and the actions that Council, government agencies and local service providers can implement to improve social wellbeing in Ashburton.
