Digital Only Membership
Would you like a digital only membership to the Ashburton Public Library?
It is free and available online. This membership will give you access to eBooks, eAudio and eResources.
Register your digital membership at https://onlinereg.kotui.org.nz/forms/1 and follow the steps to join. Remember to choose digital membership.
You will also need a pin number. This is the password you enter when completing your registration.
Story Box Library
This site offers over 400 Australian and New Zealand children's book titles made into videos. These virtual storytimes will support reading to your children. Each story comes with an activity suggestion relating to the story's themes.

Click on Login at the top right of the screen. Choose library barcode login. In the Library dropdown box select Ashburton Public Library and then enter your library card number.
BorrowBox has a lot of Australian and New Zealand content and is mainly focused on eAudio books. However, it does have a good selection of eBooks.
Users can download 5 eBooks and 5 eAudio items at a time with a loan period of 14 days.
There is a selection of adult fiction, non-fiction eBooks and eAudio titles. This collection also includes young adults and children's material. New titles are regularly added and a good option to get started.
Users can download 5 items at a time with a loan period of 7, 14 or 21 days.
LOTE4Kids allows children to enjoy the wonder of books in World Languages from the comfort of your own home. Each book is provided with an English translation to help develop multilingual reading and listening skills. "Download the LOTE4Kids App today!"
Hoopla digital offers hundreds of books, audio books, music and movies for adults, teens and children. With regular bonus borrows on offer, hoopla really is a one stop destination. To access hoopla, you will need your library card and PIN.
