Before Black and White there was Colour | Bobby Kurb

About the event

In Before Black and White there was Colour, Ashburton-based artist Bobby Kurb explores the complexity and contradiction of today’s society. Street art, graffiti, and pop art all influence this recent body of work, in which Kurb embraces a variety of media.

Comments on present global issues are declared in splashed paint and through eccentric characters. If it's true that art holds up a mirror to society, this exhibition takes a walk in a funhouse hall of mirrors, reflecting distorted images through the filter of contemporary media.
