Food Safety Workshop Tuesday 12 Aug, 5:30pm - 7pm @ Ashburton Library

Come to this short food safety workshop and learn how to prepare and cook food safely. This session is perfect for anyone wanting to serve food at Multicultural Bite, local markets, festivals and other gatherings.

Ideal for migrants, those from community groups, marae and churches, but open to anyone! You are all welcome and it's free to attend! Just make sure you register.

Food & Health Standards Aotearoa will be delivering the session, which will cover the basics of:

  • Safe food handling
  • Clean preparation and cooking
  • Keeping food hot or cold

Transporting and storing food safely

After this workshop, you’ll be able to serve food at local events with confidence!
