Refresher course for senior drivers

Ashburton's older drivers are being encouraged to sign up for a free refresher course aimed at helping them stay independent and driving for longer.
The Staying Safe course is supported by Council and being run by Age Concern at the Ashburton Senior Centre on Friday 20 February. It will be a classroom-based course, from 10am-2pm.
Drivers will be able to re-familiarise themselves with traffic rules and safe driving practices, and learn about other transport options.
To enrol, call Age Concern on 308 6817 or email ageconcernashburton@xtra.co.nz.
