23 February 2024: Residents connected to the Montalto water supply are being reminded to boil their drinking water before use, after the Council detected E.coli in the rural supply.
Montalto is on a permanent boil water notice and the Council regularly monitors the supply, with a recent sample showing the presence of E.coli.
Residents are reminded to boil their drinking water and water used in food preparation and hygiene purposes for at least one minute before using.
