Updated - 5pm Tuesday 13 June: Repairs to the Brothers Main stockwater race have been succesfully completed and normal operation is resuming.

The Brothers Main stockwater race will be shut off Tuesday 13 June for urgent repairs, affecting residents in Valetta, Westerfield, Lagmhor and Willowby areas.

The temporary closure will allow a gate to be replaced while weather conditions are ideal. If required, repairs will continue on Wednesday, however the race would be able to operate overnight Tuesday.

Once the work is completed, it may take a day or two for water to return to full capacity.
