Heritage Centre building remedial work progressing
A crane will be at the Ashburton Art Gallery and Museum beginning on Wednesday (26 January) to lift two water tanks onto the roof of the heritage centre building.
The tanks will become part of the heating and cooling system for the building, which has special air conditioning requirements because it houses precious art and historical items that need to be preserved.
The crane will be on the northern side of the building early in the morning and lift the tanks onto the roof. Traffic in the area should not be affected.
