The Business Support group includes teams focused on information services, property, legal and finance. The group is responsible for services that support the effective running of the organisation, such as ensuring legal compliance, information technology security, efficiency of business technology systems, and the delivery of Council’s financial strategy.
About Helen
Helen has been involved in Local Government for more than 25 years in senior Corporate Services and Finance roles at the Whakatane District Council, the Bay of Plenty Regional Council and New Plymouth District Council. Helen gained her Bachelor of Management Studies at Waikato University and is a qualified Chartered Accountant as well as a member of Taituarā — Local Government Professionals Aotearoa.
