In celebration of Welcoming Week and the Hakatere Noodle Festival, we’re running a design your own food truck competition for young people.

The Hakatere Noodle Festival celebrates the different flavours that make up our community and we want to hear what style of food best describes you.

It could be based on a traditional family recipe, represent your culture or just something you enjoy eating!

Share it with us by downloading an entry form and designing your very own food truck. All entries will be displayed at the Hakatere Noodle Festival plus you could win one of the awesome prizes below!

Entries should be returned to Ashburton Library by Friday 6 September or brought to the Hakatere Noodle Festival on Saturday 7 September. Additional entry forms are available at the Ashburton Library or can be downloaded at the link above.

Terms & Conditions

Judging will take place on Monday 9 September. Winners will be notified by phone and names published on the Council’s website. Prizes cannot be exchanged for cash.
