Try your hand at disc golf these holidays

The sun is trying to shine, so why not head down to the EA Networks Centre for a game of disc golf!
The 18-hole course is on our Smallbone Reserve, next to the pool and sports centre.
You can grab some hire discs from our friendly customer services team at the centre, or buy or bring your own. It’s a free, fun course, with some challenging tree-lined holes and varying terrain, and the first tee is by the eastern end of the centre.
You can even record your score on the UDisc app - you could become the course leader! You can check out the local disc golf page on Facebook too, AshDiscGolf.
Council’s other facilities, including the swimming pools, public library, and the art gallery and museum, have a host of activities on over the school holidays, so pop along and check them out.
The MetService is predicting some settled weather for the remainder of the holidays, which will be good news for parents and children.
