Rippa rugby makes most of 'immaculate' Argyle Park

Move over Richie Mo'unga and Kendra Cocksedge - Canterbury has some future stars coming through the ranks and they're tearing it up at the Mid Canterbury Rugby Union's rippa rugby comp at Argyle Park.

Thirty-five teams from across the district's local primary schools have been working their rugby skills every Tuesday evening this month.
Argyle Park has proudly played host to the fast-paced sevan-a-side games, with several grounds marked out across the park.

Staff from the Council's Open Spaces team have been keeping the grounds in shipshape condition to host the comp, attracting positive feedback from the comp's organisers about its "immaculate" state.
