New irrigation system being installed at Ashburton Domain

It's a well-used spot for athletics, public events and exercise at the Ashburton Domain, and this month the oval on the corner of Winter and Philip Streets is getting a new irrigation system.
Through its contractor, Freemans and PB & J Contracting Ltd, the Council is installing the new irrigation system that will help to maintain and improve the the venue throughout the year.
Work to install the system began on 3 September and is expected to be completed over two weeks.
