Duologue | Inge and Marc Doesburg

About the event

Duologue is a collaborative exhibition by Ōtepoti Dunedin-based artists Inge and Marc Doesburg. Their practices are shaped by their similar cultural backgrounds. Inge is a German native who has made her home in Aotearoa for over 35 years, and Marc is the child of Dutch immigrants – raised here, but lived in the Netherlands and Germany during the 1980s.

Trained as a printmaker, Inge’s works explore the landscapes and sensations of her adopted home Aotearoa through print, painting, photography and drawing. Marc’s photography looks for the formal arrangements within a scene by following a line, or capturing the incidental compositions of architectural elements; often exploring the overlooked spaces from daily life.
