Death and Paperwork #3

About the event

This is the third and final event in a lunchtime series Death and Paperwork.

In this workshop we'll address questions like:

  • what practical/ legal things need to happen when someone dies?
  • what must get done by a lawyer and what can you do yourself?
  • what is an enduring power of attorney (EPA)?
  • how and when to appoint an EPA
  • what are my responsibilities if I am someone's EPA?

We will have staff from Community Law Canterbury and local law firm Argyle Welsh Finnigan facilitate
this FREE lunchtime session at the new public library in Ashburton, Te Kete Tuhinga. There will be time to ask questions after the presentation. You are welcome to bring your lunch with you and eat it during the event. There is also a cafĂ© in the library should you wish to purchase something there.

People of all ages, cultures and backgrounds are welcome.

Please register so we know how big a room we'll need and can advise you the day before the event which room we will be in.
