Be Bright, Be Seen - Know your way around
Council is working with schools in the district to promote the wearing of hi-visibility clothing during the darker winter months and poorer weather conditions.
During Road Safety Week (19-26 May), local preschools, kindergartens and primary schools took up the challenge to "Be Bright, Be Seen".
As part of the campaign, there was a free sausage sizzle on Friday 23 May at the chessboard on East St, with spot prizes and giveaways for the brightest outfits.
