Council has budgeted $14.9M to be spent on the district's roads and footpaths from 1 July 2017 to 30 June 2018.
This work will include resurfacing and rehabilitation work on sealed and unsealed roads, roadside drainage improvements, footpaths, kerb and channel replacement, intersection resurfacing and streetlight upgrades.
Each year Council submits a minor improvement programme/schedule to New Zealand Transport Agency (NZTA). The programme/schedule sets out what work Council would like to carry out during the financial year.
Please note that the submission of the programme/schedule is a tentative programme only and there is no guarantee that the proposed work will be undertaken.
