Come along to the Ashburton Public Library for a free NZ Sign Language information evening.

You will be tutored by Carol Smith, an official NZ Sign Language tutor.

Sign language is a combination of hand shapes, facial expressions and body movements.

As one of the country’s official languages, more than 24,000 New Zealanders use NZSL daily. It is also the 12th most frequently used language out of approximately 190 languages currently used in New Zealand.​

eBooks and eReaders are growing in popularity but what are eBooks and eReaders?  Come along to the Ashburton Public Library's eBook sessions and find out. One hour sessions will be run by library staff weekly and it is a great opportunity to discover what eBooks are all about, ask questions and try to solve any problems you may be experiencing.

Please feel free to bring along any eBook reading device.
