District Economic Profile

Interested in knowing more about the economy of the Ashburton District?  We have a series of web-based economic information that is regularly updated and is a great tool for visualising economic data.

Council has contracted Infometrics to deliver for the district economic information, research, analysis and forecasts that can assist businesses and other organisations in their policy, planning and strategic decisions.  Infometrics get their data from a variety of sources including Statistics New Zealand and taxation data.

The Economic Profile includes annual data at the district, urban and rural level about:
