District Council is busy assessing its forward work programmes, with work now
underway to inspect wastewater infrastructure in Ashburton and Methven.
is inspecting pipes in Ashburton and Methven with CCTV cameras which show what
condition the wastewater pipes are in. Work is starting today, Wednesday 22
March and is expected to be completed around Thursday 13 April – weather
routinely checks our infrastructure to ensure it is in proper working order. It
also allows us to determine our forward working programme, should parts of the
infrastructure require maintenance,” Council Assets Manager Andrew Guthrie
are taking place in various streets in the Allenton and Netherby areas of
Ashburton, before starting in Methven. Property occupiers in the affected
streets will be notified directly prior to the works in their street.
