Sport Mid-Canterbury have taken up residency in the EA Network Centre's Sports House.
The organisation, which works to keep the mid-Canterbury region community engaged in physical activity, moved into the premises on November 13.
The EA Network Centre complex opened in May this year, with four indoor pools, a relaxing spa and steam room, four indoor courts and two outdoor courts. It offers a broad range of aquatic and fitness facilities, including Les Mills group fitness classes, AshSwim Swim School, aqua fitness classes and a fully equipped gym room.
The centre's Sports House provides a communal office space for local sports organisations to share resources and ideas.
Sport Mid-Canterbury regional manager, Jan Cochrane, is thrilled to have moved into the new facilities.
"It's fantastic to be in the Sports House within the EA Network Centre, where we will hopefully soon have many sports groups under one roof."
Mid-Canterbury Netball have also joined the Sports House and Cochrane says she hopes more sports groups join the facilities soon.
"We really want to create a 'one stop shop' for sports where we can work together, share resources and collaborate on exciting projects."
