District Council is advising residents to be extra vigilant with their water
use from tomorrow (Saturday 2 December), when a Level One water restriction
Residents connected to a Council water supply in Ashburton, Rakaia, Methven, Hakatere,
Chertsey, Lake Hood, Fairton, Hinds, Mt Somers and Mayfield will be restricted
to only using a hose on alternate days to help conserve water in the district.
