The profile reports that from the year to March 2018, the district's economy grew two per cent from the year before, to $1.952 billion, while the national Gross Domestic Product (GDP) increased 3.2 per cent over the same period.
Infometrics is a national company that compiles data from a range of sources including Inland Revenue Department, Statistics New Zealand and Paymark.
The Council has purchased the right to this information to benefit the local community.
