District Council has approved additional funding of $28,000 to the Mount Somers
Fire Station Extension to account for improved cost estimates of the project.
has increased the budget from $121,000 to $149,000 after preliminary plans for
the facility’s extension provided a clearer indication of total costs.

establish more detailed plans for the extension, which includes building,
