Ashburton District Council Annual Residents' Survey about to start

Residents from across the Ashburton District will soon have the chance to say how they think the Council has performed throughout the year, as part of the 2019/20 Annual Residents' Survey.

In a change to how previous years' surveys have been conducted, the 2019/20 survey will be carried out over four rounds throughout the year rather than in one round. Residents selected to participate will be sent letters inviting them to take part in an online survey, and if no response is received, a hard copy of the survey will be mailed to them.

The Annual Residents' Survey will be independently carried out by Key Research, who have significant experience conducting resident surveys for councils across the country, in addition to conducting the Council's own Roading Perceptions Survey.

Residents who receive an invitation are encouraged to participate in the survey, as their feedback will be used to help determine the Council's future work programmes and budget priorities.

Key Research will send letters to 4,000 residents in the 2019/20 year, who will be randomly selected from the electoral roll. The survey will be carried out quarterly (every three months), beginning this month.
