Local residents can start providing feedback on a range of Ashburton District Council services and issues from today as the 2017 Annual Residents’ Survey kicks off.

A representative cross-section of residents will be selected and interviewed via telephone by independent Canterbury-based company, Research First. Feedback received will be used to help Council determine future work programmes and budget priorities.

“The Annual Residents’ Survey is an integral tool for Council to evaluate its services and understand community needs,” Council Community Relations Manager Vincie Billante says. “If residents receive a call from Research First, we encourage them to participate, as the feedback will be used to help measure community satisfaction with our levels of service.”

The Annual Residents’ Survey is expected to finish on 20 March, 2017, with results presented to Council on 18 May. Results will be published on the Council website.

Previous Annual Residents’ Surveys are also available from the website.
