The Annual Report provides detailed information about Council's performance for the year including its financial position, work programme completion, and performance measured against targets set in the Long Term Plan or Annual Plan.
Annual Residents' Survey
The Annual Residents' Survey measures customer satisfaction on the services Council delivers to our community.
The survey asks a selection of Ashburton District residents their opinions on a wide ranging list of services and issues pertaining to the Council.
The information provided by the survey results identifies what is working well and which areas need improvement, thereby helping Council determine work programmes, focuses, and budget priorities for the future.

Customer Request Management System
Council uses an electronic customer management database for inputting and tracking service requests from residents. . The system is also used for reporting on service response times which is very useful in terms of measuring the performance of particular aspects of Council's service.
ALGIM Council Website Rankings
The Association of Local Government Information Management conduct a yearly independent assessment of council websites throughout New Zealand. Ashburton District Council's website was ranked 14th out of 78 councils in 2016.
