          Wastewater
          The Council administers three wastewater (sewerage) schemes in the district.  The schemes are responsible for the collection of wastewater from connected properties, conveyance via pipelines to the treatment plants.  At the plants, wastewater is treated before reaching it final disposal point. 

          The table below shows the schemes and the number of properties served by each.
