In accordance with the First Schedule of the Resource Management Act 1991, Ashburton District Council wishes to publicly notify its decision on a Proposed Private Plan Change application by Carters Estate Ltd, Carters Road / Racecourse Road to the Ashburton District Plan.
The Council’s decision includes decisions on submissions, reasons for accepting in part or rejecting the submissions received, and the amendments to the District Plan.
Copies of the decision are available for inspection at the Council’s offices at 5 Baring Square West, Ashburton; at the Ashburton Library and on the Council’s website at
www.ashburtondc.govt.nz
Those who made a submission on the Proposed Private Plan Change may appeal to the Environment Court. The appeal must be in the prescribed form and be lodged with the Environment Court within 30 working days of being served the notice of decision in accordance with the First schedule of the Resource Management Act.
The Plan Change is to provide rezoning of land held in Lot 1 DP24680, Lot 1 DP 30503, Lots 2 and 3 DP30503, Ashburton Rural A to Residential between Carters Road and Racecourse Road.
