The Ashburton District Council has released its letter of reply to Alister Argyle in response to a settlement proposal in a letter received from Mr Argyle on October 1.
Also being released to the public is the legal advice given to Council on the matter.
The settlement offer from Mr Argyle was considered by Council at its meeting on Thursday October 30.
A decision was made in-committee that Council would respond to each of the eight points in Mr Argyle’s letter.
The response from Council, detailing its decisions on the matters raised in Mr Argyle’s October 1 letter, was delivered to Mr Argyle’s office this afternoon.
