You can pay your rates by

• Rates Easypay (Direct Debit)
• Cash, cheque or Eftpos
• Direct credit or automatic payments
• Telephone banking or internet banking

Rates Easypay (Direct Debit)

• Direct debit from your account at frequencies that suit your budget 
• Payments are adjusted automatically if your rates change 
• We let you know in advance of any changes
• You receive your rates invoice for your records

Telephone or Internet Banking

• Installments are paid electronically via telephone or internet banking
• You will need to specify your rates account number as a reference

Direct Credit or Automatic Payment

• Payments can be made weekly, fortnightly, bi-monthly or monthly
• You will need to change the payment amount if your rates change
• Please use your rates account number as a reference

Cash, cheques, eftpos or credit card

• Payments are made at the Council office
• Credit card payments attract a 2.5% bank surcharge
• Cheques can be posted to PO Box 94, Ashburton 7740
• Please enclose the remittance advice with your cheque
• Please do not post cash
• Receipts will not be issued for cheques received unless requested

We do not accept New Zealand Post money orders.
