Draft Walking and Cycling Strategy
Ashburton District Council has been working with a number of other agencies from the community to develop a Walking and Cycling Strategy.
The intention of the Strategy is to encourage walking and cycling as a safe mode of transport and recreation, and to identify the required infrastructure needed to do this.
Council is seeking comment on the draft Strategy until 5pm Friday 16th May 2008.
