The State of the Community report provides a snapshot

of a variety of aspects of community life here in Ashburton

District and measures our progress towards achieving our

seven community outcomes.

These community outcomes were identified in a

consultative process with the community in 2005.

As this is our first community outcomes report, it provides 

a snapshot in time of our community and establishes a baseline

for future state of the community monitoring and reporting.

This report will be produced again in 2011 so progress

can be tracked.
