Council adopted the 2011/12 Annual Plan at its Council meeting on Thursday 30 June 2011.

The overall rate increase in the rate requirement for 2011/12 is 5.6%. The Community Plan 2009-19 forecast an increased rate requirement for the 2011/12 financial year of 6.1%.

The Plan has been developed based on year three of Council's Community Plan 2009-19. Any significant variances from the Community Plan have been explained and the Annual Plan meets the requirements of the Local Government Act 2002.

Consultation on the Annual Plan 2011/12 was undertaken from 28 March - 29 April 2011. 86 Submissions to the Annual Plan were received, and Council considered all submissions during May 2011.
