          Draft Annual Plan 2013/14

           

          Get involved in your community and have your say!

          The draft Annual Plan details the work programme that Council proposes to carry out in the 2013/14 financial year, how much this is projected to cost and how it will be paid for.

          Council adopted the 2013/14 draft Annual Plan at its meeting on Thursday 4 April 2013. The draft Annual Plan proposes an overall rate increase of 4.9% of which is a significant decrease from the 7.4% rate increase forecast for the 2013/14 year in the Ashburton District Council Long Term Plan 2012-22.

          Consultation for the draft Annual Plan is open from 8 April 2013 until 10 May 2013 and Council wants to know what you think.

           

          Whats Happening and When?

          8 April 2013

          Consultation of the Ashburton District Council’s draft Annual Plan begins

          17 - 29 April 2013

          Community meetings (see below)

          10 May 2013

          Consultation closes at 5pm

          29 & 30 May 2013

          Residents able to present their submissions to Council in person

          5 & 6 June 2013

          Council considers all submissions made to the draft Annual Plan

          7 – 26 June 2013

          Changes are made to the Annual Plan based on submissions made

          27 June 2013

          Final Annual Plan is adopted by Council and available to the community

          Come along to a meeting to hear about what Council is proposing to do in the coming year. Community meetings will be held in the following locations:

          Rates Calculator

          A rates calculator is available to download (see below) to enable you to find out what your rates will be for your own property. You will need to know what your rateable value is in order to use the calculator.

          The rates workbook contains sheets for each region of the Ashburton District. It is in a format that should be compatible with all versions of Office/Excel.

          The individual sheets are LOCKED with the exception of the capital value cell. Enter the value of your property into this cell and the rate information will be calculated and displayed.
